　　為豐富校園文化生活，營造“師生共讀書”的氛圍，深圳奧斯翰外語學(xué)校在4月23日“國際讀書日”之際舉辦了“世界圖書周”系列活動，激發(fā)了師學(xué)生的讀書熱情，提高了師生的綜合素養(yǎng)。

--World Book Week 2019

　　深圳奧斯翰外語學(xué)校于上周成功舉辦了世界圖書周活動。在整周的活動期間，學(xué)校以書籍為核心，組織了豐富多彩、靈活多樣的活動。國際部各個年級的師生積極參與，使這讀書周成為難忘的一周。

　　Last week we celebrated World Book Week here at Oxstand and it was a huge success. Events were held throughout the week with all grades in the international programs making a massive effort to make it a memorable week.

書簽與書籍封面設(shè)計展

Bookmarks and Book Covers Design

　　周一，我們舉辦了書簽與書籍封面設(shè)計展。學(xué)生們通過制作書簽和書籍封面設(shè)計，來展示自己對書籍的鐘愛。書簽設(shè)計是本次活動的獨特亮點。學(xué)生充分發(fā)揮想象力和創(chuàng)造力，運用身邊的每一種材料來制作創(chuàng)意感十足的書簽。同樣令人高興的是，在培養(yǎng)競爭意識的同時，越來越多的學(xué)生駐足欣賞、品評學(xué)習(xí)同齡人的佳作。

　　The week started on Monday with bookmarks and book covers being made to celebrate the favourite books that the students love. The bookmark design’s was a particular highlight with the student’s creative energies showcasing the imagination and creativity that our students have, with bookmarks being made from every material and technique known to the students. It was also great to see the students getting competitive about the bookmarks with students asking to showcase their talents right up to the end of bookweek as more and more students stopped to look at the work done by their fellow peers.

　　周二，我們與中國各大知名圖書供應(yīng)商聯(lián)合舉行了國際圖書展，向感興趣的學(xué)生老師們展示來自世界各地的精品圖書。此次書展使全校師生一覽未來幾年將會使用的豐富的教育前沿書籍。

　　On the Tuesday we had our bookfair with some of the biggest book companies in China showcasing their collections to the interested public. This was an excellent event which enabled both teacher and student to see the wide range of books that are available for further educations in the years ahead.

朗讀者

Passage Reading

　　在圖書周的每一天，學(xué)生們分別使用普通話、廣東話、英語、日語和韓語朗讀名篇佳作。所有參與朗讀的同學(xué)都做到了聲情并茂，使全體師生樂享其中、回味無窮。

　　During the week we also had passage reading done through the speakers in the school with students reading out passages in Mandarin, Cantonese, English，Japanese and Korean. All the students who read did so eloquently and made the event an enjoyable one for the student body and faculty as a whole.

作品主題裝飾大賽

Classroom Decoration

　　周四，我們進(jìn)行了以文學(xué)作品為主題的教室裝飾大賽，每個班級都共同努力精心裝飾了教室。同學(xué)們通過分享、討論選出了班級最受歡迎的圖書，《哈利·波特》系列顯然風(fēng)靡整個校園。

　　On Thursday we had classroom decoration with great work done by each class. It was fascinating to see what book each class would choose with Harry Potter being a clear favourite across the grades.

角色扮演大賽

Character Cosplay Show

　　周五是圖書角色扮演日。所有年級的學(xué)生都齊聚音樂廳，總結(jié)回顧整個圖書證活動及之前的科技節(jié)成果。不同年級的同學(xué)分別裝扮成哈利·波特和不同的漫畫人物，同時對自己扮演的角色做口頭介紹。

　　Friday was character cosplay with all grades being brought into the auditorium to summarize the events of the week past and also to remember the triumph that was Science Week.  Several of the students had made the effort to dress up with Harry Potter coming out on top with some Manga characters also making a good appearance. 

　　總的來說，經(jīng)過老師的精心策劃與指導(dǎo)，學(xué)生充分展示創(chuàng)意性才能并且積極投入，本次世界讀書周系列活動圓滿成功、意義深遠(yuǎn)。我們衷心祝愿明年的圖書周活動取得更大的成功！

　　Overall World Book Week was a success due to the work put in by student body who outdid themselves in their creativity and effort. We all sincerely hope that this event will be a bigger success next year and in the years to come.
