As we come to the end of a particularly challenging school year, it’s good to reflect again on some of our values. Underpinning everything we do here at ISQ, and at all our sister schools within the International Schools Consortium (iSC), is our commitment to transforming from the inside out. We’ve laid these values out in 9 qualities, called the “iSC9 Qualities”:

　　“I persist in thinking, inquiring, and discussing even in the presence of threat or fear.”

    We watched our students, teachers, and ISQ families approach this unprecedented time with bravery and courage. Our students stood up to uncertainty with courage and resilience, and we are convinced they have come out the other side stronger.

　　我們看到學(xué)生、老師和ISQ所有家庭勇敢地迎接這段時(shí)期里那些前所未有的挑戰(zhàn)。學(xué)生們滿有勇氣與靈活的面對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)中諸多的不確定性，我們相信他們逐步邁出的腳步會(huì)讓自己變得更加強(qiáng)大。

　　Persistence|堅(jiān)持|??

　　“I approach challenges with tenacity, creativity and thinking. I don’t give up.”

　　To witness our students and teachers, from grades PreK through 12, persist in their learning despite the challenges, the unfamiliarity, the creativity required, really underpinned this value. They didn’t give up, and their persistence paid off.

　　“我以堅(jiān)韌、創(chuàng)造力和思考來(lái)迎接挑戰(zhàn)，不會(huì)放棄。”

　　我們見(jiàn)證了從幼兒園到12年級(jí)的師生們，在充滿了挑戰(zhàn)和不確定行的情況 下，堅(jiān)持不懈地學(xué)習(xí)并展示其創(chuàng)造力，真正活出了這個(gè)品質(zhì)。他們沒(méi)有放棄，他們的堅(jiān)持得到了回報(bào)。

　　Throughout everything that happened this past year, our students and teachers have remained committed to their purpose, never taking their eyes off the prize.

　　Our Head of School, Ben Yap, summed it up well when he said, “We are thankful for the courage and ‘can do’ attitude of our students, parents, and teachers that has enabled us to see through to the end and finish the year with excellence and gratitude.”

　　ISQ校長(zhǎng) Ben Yap先生總結(jié)得很好，他說(shuō):“我們感謝學(xué)生、家長(zhǎng)與老師們的勇氣和'我能做到'的心態(tài)，這種心態(tài)幫助我們順利渡過(guò)這段時(shí)間并以感恩的心來(lái)結(jié)束這一學(xué)年。”
